Purchase & Course Use Agreement
Effective: August 29, 2026
This Purchase & Course Use Agreement applies to digital courses, self-paced learning programs, and related educational products purchased from VNW Consulting, LLC dba Empowered Legacy.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.
Purchase and Payment
The purchase price is the amount displayed at checkout at the time of purchase. Payment may be made in full or through an installment payment plan when that option is available.
By completing your purchase, you authorize the payment method provided at checkout to be charged according to the payment option and schedule selected.
Refund Policy
Due to the instant-access nature of digital courses and products, all purchases are final and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Choosing not to participate in, complete, or use a purchased course or digital product does not create a right to a refund.
Installment Payment Plans
When an installment payment option is selected, the purchaser is agreeing to pay the full purchase price in installments.
An installment payment plan is not a subscription or month-to-month membership and cannot be canceled simply by discontinuing participation or use of the course.
Stopping participation, failing to complete the course, or choosing not to access course materials does not eliminate the remaining payment obligation.
Failed or Past-Due Payments
Purchasers are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method throughout the installment period.
If a scheduled payment is declined or becomes past due, Empowered Legacy reserves the right to temporarily suspend access to the applicable course, program, or digital materials until the account is brought current.
Repeated or unresolved failed payments may result in termination of access. Any outstanding balance remains due according to the applicable purchase agreement and governing law.
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Purchasers are encouraged to contact Empowered Legacy regarding billing questions or concerns before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.
Initiating a chargeback does not automatically cancel an installment payment obligation. Empowered Legacy reserves the right to provide relevant purchase records, access records, this Agreement, and other supporting documentation to payment processors or financial institutions when responding to a disputed charge.
Personal Use License
Each purchase provides one individual user with a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the purchased course and related materials for personal educational and professional-development purposes.
Purchasing access to a course or digital product does not transfer ownership of the content or intellectual property to the purchaser.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a purchase does not provide permission to reproduce, distribute, teach, facilitate, share, license, or provide course materials to other individuals or organizations.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
All original course content and materials created by VNW Consulting, LLC dba Empowered Legacy, including but not limited to videos, presentations, written materials, exercises, worksheets, workbooks, frameworks, graphics, downloads, prompts, methodologies, assessments, recordings, and other resources, are the intellectual property of VNW Consulting, LLC dba Empowered Legacy unless otherwise identified.
These materials are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
Copyright ownership remains with VNW Consulting, LLC dba Empowered Legacy regardless of whether the purchaser is provided downloadable or printable access to the materials.
Prohibited Use and Sharing
Without prior written permission from Empowered Legacy, purchasers may not:
- Share usernames, passwords, or course access with another person.
- Allow another individual to participate in a course through the purchaser's account.
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, email, upload, publish, post, or publicly display protected course materials.
- Share downloadable materials with coworkers, friends, clients, students, organizations, groups, or other third parties.
- Record or screen-record course videos, presentations, or other protected content.
- Upload course materials to shared drives, organizational learning-management systems, websites, social-media platforms, databases, artificial intelligence platforms, or other digital repositories for redistribution, reproduction, analysis, adaptation, or reuse.
- Remove copyright, trademark, ownership, or attribution notices.
- Sell, sublicense, rent, transfer, or commercially distribute course materials.
- Use course materials to create or deliver workshops, courses, coaching programs, consulting services, professional-development sessions, presentations, publications, or derivative products.
- Modify or adapt course materials for redistribution or commercial use.
- Present Empowered Legacy content, frameworks, tools, methodologies, or materials as their own original work.
Organizational and Group Use
Individual course purchases are intended for individual use only unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
Purchasing one course enrollment does not provide permission to reproduce or use course materials with a team, organization, staff, congregation, class, professional group, community group, or other collective audience.
Organizations or individuals interested in using Empowered Legacy materials with multiple participants must obtain separate written permission, licensing, group enrollment, or contracted facilitation services from Empowered Legacy.
Educational Purpose
Courses, programs, and digital products offered by Empowered Legacy are provided for educational, professional-development, informational, and personal-reflection purposes.
Participation does not establish a counseling, therapeutic, medical, legal, financial, or other professional-client relationship unless a separate written agreement specifically establishes such a relationship.
Course content is not a substitute for individualized professional services when such services are needed.
Participant Responsibility
Courses and resources may provide research, strategies, tools, information, reflection opportunities, and other resources designed to support learning, personal development, or professional growth.
Each participant remains responsible for their own decisions, actions, implementation, interpretations, and outcomes.
No Guarantee of Results
Individual experiences and outcomes vary.
Purchase, participation, or completion of a course or program does not guarantee any specific personal, professional, organizational, employment, leadership, financial, educational, or other result.
Course Access and Technology
Access to digital courses and resources may require internet connectivity, compatible devices, software, and other technology.
Purchasers are responsible for maintaining the equipment and technology necessary to access purchased materials.
Empowered Legacy is not responsible for access limitations resulting from a purchaser's internet service, equipment, device, software, browser, or other third-party technology.
Course Updates
Empowered Legacy may periodically update, revise, replace, reorganize, or improve course materials, resources, lessons, technology, or platform features.
These updates may be made to improve the learning experience, maintain accuracy, address technological changes, or enhance course content.
Access Period
The duration of access to a course or digital product is the access period identified on the applicable sales page, checkout page, or product description at the time of purchase.
References to "lifetime access," if used, refer to access for as long as the applicable course or product remains actively offered and supported by Empowered Legacy, unless otherwise expressly stated.
Suspension or Termination of Access
Empowered Legacy reserves the right to suspend or terminate access when there is evidence of:
- Unauthorized account sharing.
- Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or redistribution.
- Intellectual property infringement.
- Fraudulent activity.
- Harassment or misuse of interactive course features.
- Violation of this Purchase & Course Use Agreement.
Termination resulting from a violation of this Agreement does not create a right to a refund or eliminate an outstanding installment payment obligation, subject to applicable law.
Changes to This Agreement
Empowered Legacy may update this Purchase & Course Use Agreement periodically.
The terms applicable to a specific purchase are the terms presented or made available to the purchaser at the time of purchase, unless a change is required by law or expressly agreed to by the purchaser.
Acceptance of Agreement
By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have reviewed, understood, and agreed to this Purchase & Course Use Agreement.
